FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does our submission have to relate to film?

Yes. Depth Cues is, first and foremost, a film magazine.

Can I send in multiple submissions?

Yes. Please be sure to send separate e-mails for each individual piece of work.

Do you accept international submissions?

Yes. Depth Cues contributors and editors are worldwide!

Do you ship internationally?

Yes.

The deadline has passed— can I still send in my submission?

Once the submission deadline for the current Issue has passed, we accept submissions on a rolling basis. However, on-time submissions are given priority in consideration. We will only begin to look at late submissions if we have not already reached the maximum number of accepted entries.

When will we be notified on our submission’s acceptance/rejection?

Once the submission deadline has passed, potential contributors will be notified over the next couple of months of their status through e-mail. This process is quite extensive and is not given a set end date as all our editors go through submissions on their own personal time, many of them being either students or having full time jobs. We hope you understand.

A physical Issue is sold out— will you be selling it again?

No. Unfortunately, each issue will only be printed once. However, digital copies will be available for purchase forever (so long as no one abuses their availability by re-printing or re-uploading)!

My order was lost in the mail— can you please send me another copy?

Because of the limited number of printed issues, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that we will be able to send you a new copy. While we do carry emergency stock should delivery problems occur, this stock is very limited. Once all extra copies are gone, we can no longer offer a replacement. If you would like to inquire about higher security shipping options to avoid this, please e-mail us at info@depthcues.club and we can see what is available for you and apply it to your order.
We are also more than happy to refund your purchase or send you a digital copy for free.
