Be A Contributor

A publication focused
on the cinematic world,
the sentimentality we attach to it,
and all that we do beyond it.

 

Each issue of Depth Cues focuses on a central theme.

  • We are looking for writers, illustrators, and photographers to contribute their own memory, recollection, or interpretation of a film (i.e. a scene, sequence of shots, or the film in its entirety) in conjunction with the theme.

    • Writers:
      This can be in the form of fiction, essays, journaling, poetry… whatever you can think of!

    • Illustrators:
      Comics, portraits, painting, doodles, etc.— your interpretation of a scene in your own art style.

    • Photographers:

      What else— your beautiful photography!


Contributors

  • Contributors will be credited for all their work.

  • Contributors will be paid. Since we are just starting out, we cannot offer much, but hopefully we’ll get there soon!

  • Contributors will also receive their own free copy of the zine.

  • International contributors are welcome!

Giving Back

  • Proceeds for every issue will be donated to a timely cause of our choice in conjunction with the theme of the present issue.

  • Any remaining profits will go back into our funds to pay our contributors and handle production costs for the next issue.
